// hi, my name is
Anu Mathew.
I build secure links for tiny things.
About
I’m a researcher and doctoral candidate at ivESK, Hochschule Offenburg, working on security for narrowband IIoT networks.
Experience
- Research on DTLS, SCHC, and link-aware retransmission design for LoRaWAN and other duty-cycled LPWAN links.
- Testbed and ns-3 simulation studies on handshake reliability and fragmentation.
- Model-based programming in MATLAB/Simulink for advanced embedded systems; control algorithms on state-of-the-art microcontrollers and Intel FPGAs.
- Implementation of CAN, J1939, UDS, and ARINC 825; PCB design in Altium.
- High-voltage testing and failure prediction studies of power electronic assemblies; LabVIEW UIs for electric drives and converters.
- Mentorship of undergraduate interns and project students.
- Data Foundation project with Maersk Line: ETL mapping models in Informatica PowerCenter.
- Data cleansing across flat files, MQ, and Teradata; real-time integration from Salesforce Cloud.
